I work for a software and development company based in the US and we use Godaddy.com to park all of the clients that are connected with our company. We actually transferred all of our clients from another hosting company because we liked the customer service we received from Godaddy.com.
My first interaction with Godaddy when I call is always good. I get a person who answers the phone politely and genuinely interested in helping me with my issues. They do an amazing job of walking me through a solution with clear step by step instructions on how to manage my sites, and the website is easy to follow along with and I don’t spend a lot of time searching for the different steps. They are quick to anticipate your needs and can send you an email with the link to your specific needs for the next time you may encounter the same issues.
Another way that I have been really impressed with their service is on their refund policy. There are some times, especially over the weekends, when a domain is renewed or an SSL is auto-generated and we didn’t need it to be. They allow for refunds up to 30 days after it is created and they give you the option of either having it go back to the original payment source or in-store credit. I liked this a lot because we try and keep tight accounting for client billing purposes. It keeps everything linear and easy to find later on.
Bottom line, Godaddy.com works for the customer. They know that their profits come from us and they do all that they can to make sure that customers are repeat customers.
