One of my most recent GoDaddy hosting projects is the launch of my new store. Using the Quick Shopping Cart hosting really helps me create an attractive layout without knowing any advanced web page coding. Furthermore, I prefer to use this company for my e-commerce site mainly because this provider offers one of the most secure services out there for a reasonable price.
Although it took me a little while to become acquainted with the control panel of this store account, am now getting used to it. One major convenience to me is the ability to upload product entries in bulk via an Excel file. This can speed up the process of posting hundreds of products. It is also nice that I can copy a specific product listing and use it as a template for similar listings.
I like my store overall, but I wish a few more push-button template customization options were available. For instance, I wish could adjust the width and height of my columns with entering a number and pressing “apply” or “save” as for others. It would also be nice to be able to figure out how to include more pages on my main navigation menu (Home Page, Contact Us, FAQs, etc.).
Furthermore, I would like to be able to use a w.y.s.i.w.y.g. editor for inserting the logo and header text instead of trying to use field insertion codes I do not know. Either that or I would want to have the option of convenient upload of pages without having to design the template myself.
It would also be nice to have more customization of contact forms built into it for which I do not need to know HTML code to set up. For instance, I would like to offer a more specified product support form with options for customers seeking product support for an existing order.
Additionally, it would be beneficial to me if the store had its own file manager. That way, I could upload my products via link instead of one-by-one from my computer. It does have a bulk image and media gallery, though-which is nice.
However, I have been with GoDaddy for years because they offer reasonably-priced website hosting that is secure. I would be afraid to entrust the hands of my downloadable products with a registrar I do not know.
